Under the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACT Act), consumers can request and obtain a free credit report once every 12 months from each of the three nationwide consumer credit reporting companies: Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion.
There are three convenient ways to request a free credit report*:
- Online
- By Phone - Call 877.FACT.ACT (877.322.8228) to request your free credit report by phone. You will go through a simple verification process over the phone and your reports will be mailed to you.
- By Mail - Download the credit report question form and return it to the address listed on the form. Your credit report will be mailed to you.
You can choose to stop receiving prescreen offers of credit from this and other companies by calling toll-free 888 5OPT OUT (888.567.8688), or online at www.OptOutPrescreen.com.
Reduce Telemarketing calls by calling toll-free 888.382.1222 from the phone number you want to register, or online at www.DoNotCall.gov.
