The iTHINK Financial Community Foundation Hosts 5th Annual School Ready Days

This May and June, iTHINK Financial Community Foundation will host the 5th Annual School Ready Day events to help local Florida and Georgia kids in need through the iTHINK Financial Community Foundation.
The iTHINK Community Foundation believes that children are our future and that investing in their success now is important. Members of the community and iTHINK Foundation members were invited to donate funds to help local kindergarteners start the school year better prepared.
Over 800 children in need throughout Florida and Georgia will be provided with a backpack and school supplies to be ready to start kindergarten in the 2021-2022 school year.
School Ready Days will take place at the following Florida and Georgia locations:

- Cobb County Head Start (Allgood Elementary), Marietta, GA
- Pickens County Head Start, Jasper, GA
- Sheltering Arms, Marietta, GA
- C. Robert Markham Elementary, Pompano Beach, FL
- West Riviera Elementary, Riviera Beach, FL
- Village Academy, Delray Beach, FL
- Pine Grove Elementary, Delray Beach, FL
- Rolling Green Elementary, Boynton Beach, FL
- ALPI Francina Duval Head Start Center/ALPI Garden Terrace Head Start Center, Fort Pierce, FL
- RCMA (Redlands Christian Migrant Association), Fellsmere, FL
- Roseland Christian Preschool, Sebastian, FL
- Dodgertown Elementary, Vero Beach, FL

Head Start is a Federal program that promotes the school readiness of children from birth to age five from low-income families by enhancing their cognitive, social, and emotional development. Head Start programs provide a learning environment that supports children's growth in many areas such as language, literacy, and social and emotional development. Head Start emphasizes the role of parents as their child's first and most important teacher. These programs help build relationships with families that support family well-being and many other important areas.
